The Bioinformatics department aims to advance agricultural biotechnology research through comprehensive data management, integrated database implementation, and bioinformatics analyses (In Silico). We develop information retrieval systems and provide tools for big data analytics. As part of large-scale projects, our department offers a suite of computational and data analysis tools for integrated omics and big data analysis, fostering collaboration. Our vision is to establish this department as a leading center in agricultural bioinformatics nationally and regionally. We focus on pioneering research in innovative technologies and providing impactful solutions to agricultural challenges. By refining bioinformatics analytical methods, data analysis, and computational modeling, we harness biological data in omics fields to enable precision agriculture. This effort aims to enhance both the quantitative and qualitative genetic improvement of agricultural products, benefiting farmers, consumers, and the environment.
