- Development of practical protocols for micropropagation of 6 important pistachio rootstocks
- Development of practical protocols for pistachio callus and cell suspension cultures and plant regeneration by somatic embryogenesis or organogenesis
- Comparison of growth and morphologic characteristics of in vitro micropropagated and in vivo seed-raised pistachio plants under field conditions
- Development of a practical protocol for pistachio micrografting in vitro and in vivo
- Classification of Iranian pistachio genotypes using leaf isozyme polymorphism
- In vitro propagation of saffron (Crocus sativus L.)

- Application of tissue culture and biotechnological techniques in plant improvement and mass clonal propagation of some important horticultural trees (pistachio, almond, walnut, hazelnut, olive and ornamental plants)
- Study of environmental stresses, particularly salinity and drought
- In vitro selection of resistant lines to these stresses

- Effects of various plant densities of maize and common beans in an intercropping system on yield and yeild components
- Identification and collection of male pistachio cultivars
- Comparison of yield, quantitative and qualitative characteristics of 24 pistachio cultivars in Rafsanjan conditions
- Study and determination of the best tree for pistachio spacing (inter rows and between trees)
- Regeneration and micropropagation studies in pistachio (Pistacia vera L.)
