The genomics department at Agricultural Biotechnology Research Institute of Iran
(ABRII) is utilizing the latest high-throughput techniques to study structural and
functional genomics in crop plants, insects and micro-organisms. The department
has been equipped with several modern and well-equipped research facilities such
as Real Time PCR, robotics liquid handling instrument, automated DNA analysis system,
greenhouses and phytotrones. The ongoing projects offer each entering student the
opportunity, with the help of the department advisors, to support his or her particular
scientific interests.
