Public Relations of ABRII were inaugurated in 2002.
The main object of this department is making relation between ABRII and other national and international institutes.
Other objects are:
- Presenting the results of researches and scientific activities
- Organization of scientific visits
- Public awareness and media reports
- Attend in different exhibitions
- The institutional relations

These activities are divided in 5 different sections:
|
1. Relations with media
|
- Planning and observing media conferences for Director General, Deputies and Head of departments of ABRII for press
- Planning and observing interviews with different journalists and also newsletters
- Publishing complete reports of scientific, economical and political visits
- Preparing and production of ABRII news for media in cooperation with scientists and head of departments
- Sending responses, explications, corrections or denial of some news which are published in press about ABRII

2. Exhibitions

Planning, participating and preparation of pavilion in varied fairs

3. Ceremonies and rites
|
- Planning different rites for different reasons
- Being member of Jihad-e-Agriculture week's staff and effective cooperation for Organization of Research and Education day the rites

4. Audio-visual affairs
|
- Preparing and taking photos from seminars, workshops, sessions, visits and projects
- Preparing and shooting films from seminars, workshops, sessions, visits and projects
- Preparing some illustrating reports from visits and workshops
- Preparing an audio-visual achieve from conferences, seminars, workshop, etc
| 5. Planning and management
|
- Executive management of workshops held in ABRII
- Executive management of visits
- Executive management of religious and touristic trips for staffs to Qom, Mashad, Caspian Sea, etc.
- Achieving the required justifications
- Informing other institutes and universities about all conferences held in ABRII
- Executive management of annual agricultural biotechnology research planning meetings
- Cooperation in preparation of Persian bulletins of ABRII
- Being a member of Iran Public Affairs society
- Being an active member in public affairs and advertising societies, staffs and sessions
