Specialist expert of ABRII, Mrs. Zahra Hosseini participated in the “Capacity Building Workshop Quality Management System in Plant Tissue Culture” held on 14-15 December 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand. The objectives of the workshop were 1) training on components of the quality management system (QMS) in plant tissue culture (PTC); 2) practical demonstration of conducting QMS particularly contamination monitoring and genetic fidelity testing; 3) sharing experience on successful adoption of QMS; and 4) discussion on the status of commercial plant tissue culture in Asia Pacific region.
