Slovenian Ambassador visited Agricultural Biotechnology Institute of Iran Emphasizing on the Expansion of Cooperation between Iran and Slovenia in the Field of Modern Agricultural Technology on 10th May,2018

      H.E. Ms. Kristina Radej visited ABRII on 10th May,2018, praising the achievements of this institute in various fields of biotechnology and nanotechnology and emphasizing her country's desire to expand joint scientific, educational and research cooperation. 
     

      The ambassador was accompanied with Dr. Khoshkholghsima, the Director General, and Dr. Hosseini, The Deputy Director General for Research, to the departments and laboratories of ABRII in order to make required acquaintance with capabilities, technological and scientific achievements and the ongoing projects of the institute in various fields.
      It is worth mentioning that the Republic of Slovenia is a nation state located in southern Central Europe. The country is located at the crossroads of main European cultural and trade routes. It is bordered by Italy to the west, Austria to the north, Hungary to the northeast, Croatia to the south and southeast, and the Adriatic Sea to the southwest. It covers 20,273 square kilometers (7,827 sq. mi) and has a population of 2.06 million. It is a parliamentary republic and a member of the United Nations, European Union, and NATO. The capital and largest city is Ljubljana.
